HOW DO I CHECK MY SIGNAL?
To get started, make sure your Internet Device is connected, powered up and is displaying a green WIFI signal in the front panel of the device and / or the green Ethernet light
Step 1> Make sure your device is connected to the 4GAS Internet device.
Step 2> Open an up an internet browser such as Google Chrome.
Step 3> Type in the following information in the URL section of the web browser: 192.168.1.1 and then hit enter. (See Example):


Step 5> You will now be at the 4GAS internet device home page. Now look for a section that says STATUS INFORMATION. (See Example):
Now record the Signal Strength and LTE BAND (Channel) Information.
In order to maintain optimal working service your signal score should be below -110 dbm.
TIPS TO IMPROVE MY SIGNAL SCORE?
-Try changing the location of your internet device. Having the device near other electronics may cause interference to the reception from the tower in your area. The best spot may be near a window. Never keep the internet device on the floor or in a closet.
-Try moving your internet device around to find a better signal. If that does not help, then you may need an externally mounted outdoor antenna. To determine if an outdoor antenna will help, take the device outside of your home business and see if the signal score has improved. If so, then an outdoor antenna should help you improve signal reception.
-Try shutting off the WIFI on your internet device and using an independent wireless router such as a Netgear or Linksys device. This will help your internet device focus on acquiring the LTE signal. Any wireless router should work and the price range is around $30-$100 depending on the brand and features available. This wireless router can be purchased at your local BestBuy, Walmart, Office Depot or online.
